Edison Volleyball Coaches and Staff
A Yang will be entering his 10th season as the head of the Edison Volleyball program. He was named section 5AAA Coach of the Year for 2021. A Yang strives to continue empowering his players to achieve high levels of success on and off the court. In his tenure as the head coach, he has turned around a program that has achieved multiple school records and recognition.

Kendra enters her 4th season as Varsity Assistant. She has also served as the Varsity Head Softball coach for Edison High School from 2019-2020. She has also coached volleyball at Cristo Rey High School.
Junior Varsity Coach
Jessica Goldsmith enters her first season with the Edison Volleyball program as the Junior Varsity coach for 2023. She recently completed her studies at Mesa Community College in Health Studies. Jessica also played both on the indoor and sand team at Mesa Community College.

Kiristen Robinson is from Stone Mountain, Georgia, and has worked as an educator for ten years. During that time she has also coached girl's high school basketball for five years and served as Venture Academy’s Athletic Director for two years. Kiristen Robinson was a standout athlete at Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia where she was a state champion in the 2008 Georgia State tournament. She went on to play two seasons at Columbia College in Columbia, South Carolina before earning her bachelor's degree in Early-Childhood Education at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. Kiristen is a member of the Minneapolis St. Paul Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Kiristen has a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Central Michigan University and is furthering her education at Concordia University Chicago, as a PhD candidate in Health and Human Performance. Kiristen is proud to be a part of the Edison family and excited to serve the coaches, student-athletes, and school community at Edison High School through education-based athletics.
